2024 Annual Membership Ryde and Meeting

Meet Up at 9:00 am at Central Florida Powersports
Depart at 9:30 am

We will be starting out from our favorite sponsoring dealership, Central Florida PowerSports and will ryde to our lunch and meeting destination, Vincent’s Italian Restaurant, 5914 N Orange Blossom Trail, Mt Dora, FL. Estimated arrival time is 12:30 pm.

This is our annual membership meeting for election of officer. Paid members in good standing can now make nominations for our elected officer positions; President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Webmaster. Members can also request to be considered for positions appointed by the elected board members.

Nominations will be accepted until Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Please check with the individual you are nominating to ensure they are willing to accept the position if elected. Please join us as we help welcome home Army Sgt. James Klingensmith to his new specially adapted custom home in Orlando, FL. (click link to view SGT Klingensmith’s profile).

We will meet up at Metro Diner, 1419 St. Rd. 436, Casselberry, FL at 7:45 am for breakfast. We depart by 9:15 am for quick ryde to the staging area located in the parking lot of Jesus School -2008 N Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL where we will group up with other escort groups before we proceed to Sgt Klingensmith’s new home just a few minutes away at 2017 Dorris Dr, Orlando, FL.

Continuing our Polar Bear tradition, we ryde to James H Nance Park at Indialantic Beach for fun and to dip our toes in the Atlantic Ocean. More hardy plunges are welcome. From the beach we ryde to Long Doggers, 1201 S. Patrick Dr.  Satellite Beach, FL for lunch and fellowship.

Wreaths Across America - Ryde to Cape Canaveral National Cemetery

Meet up at 7:30 am at the Speedway, 1501 E State Road 434, Winter Springs, FL. Depart at 8:00 am.

A nice ryde will get us to the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery about 9:30 AM. The ceremonies begin at 10:00.

Join us as we remember those that gave their all for our Freedom. Our group along with others will be helping Florida National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance Wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes.

2023 Central Florida Annual RWF Awareness Ryde

The event takes place at Central Florida Powersports, 2575 N. Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee, FL. Check in starts at 9:30 am with ryde departures starting at 10:00 am.

Join us on for a day of fun while supporting the Road Warrior Foundation and helping our local Toys for Tots. Guided Ryde, lunch (compliments of Central Florida Powersports), event patch, door prizes and 50/50 drawing Ryde.

Your donation of $35 / person goes entirely to the Road Warrior Foundation to support these worthy veterans The mission of Project Road Warrior is providing wounded, ill, and injured U.S. veterans memorable adventures that serve as one of the critical steps in their rehabilitative journey.

We are also asking you to bring a new unwrapped toy (no stuffed animals per Toys for Tots guidelines)  of at least a value of $10 to the event. There are a number of local children that can use our help and everything collected will be given to the local Toys for Tots. Central Florida Powersports has graciously volunteered to make sure the toys we collect are taken to a drop off location.

Homes For Our Troops Landscaping Help

We will meet up at 9:00 am in the parking lot of Sam's Club, 7701 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL and take a short ryde to the FUTURE home of Sgt. Klingensmith.

Please come to show our support for Army Sgt. James Klingensmith’s and Homes For Our Troops by helping landscape his new specially adapted custom home in Orlando, FL. Grab your friends, your garden tools and roll up your sleeves! All volunteers will receive an HFOT T-shirt and lunch! This event will be held outdoors (rain or shine). Please dress accordingly.

Ryde Out Intimidation Ryde

Depart at 9:30 am.  We will ryde to lunch at the Flying Boat Tap Room, 9672 SE 58th Ave, Belleview, FL

November 17 is Stand Up to Bullying Day - and it's a "major holiday" for BRP's "Ride Out Intimidation" initiative. BRP is celebrating the second annual Yellow Day initiative! They are proud to be celebrating International Stand Up to Bullying day and are calling us to help spread the word! However, since November 17th is a Friday, US Spyder Ryders Central Florida Chapter will celebrate this “holiday” on Sunday, November 12th.

As part of BRP’s Ride Out Intimidation program we join them to stand up to bullies in an effort to denounce intimidation on and off the road. This is a community call-to-action. 

HOW CAN WE HELP?

• Wear Yellow – that’s the big thing for this day

• Post photos and videos on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

• Use Tags and Hashtags: @canamonroad and #RideOutIntimidation when posting.

For every post and engagement BRP will donate $10 to anti-intimidation charities across all of its business regions!

Fall Spyder, Bike and Trike Fest - Deland, FL

US Spyder Ryders, Seminole Powersports, and Ob’s Restaurant & Lounge present The Fall Spyder & Bike Fest to Benefit The Road Warrior Foundation. The event will be in DeLand Florida November 2 - 4, 2023 at Ob’s 1750 North Woodland DeLand Fl. We will have Vendors , Rydes, Entertainment, and BBQ. So be sure to save the dates.

This event package includes an event patch, meals, a door prize ticket (fantastic stuff), rydes, and more. Registration fees for the Fall Spyder, Bike, and Trike Fest goes to the Road Warrior Foundation since our generous sponsors are covering the entire cost of the event. Fees will be announced soon.

Rock Hill, SC RWF Fundraiser Road Trip

Departing on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 7 am
Returning on Sunday August 13, 2023

We depart from the Wawa, 4660 W State Rd 46, Sanford, FL. promptly at 7:00 am on Friday, August 11th. This is primarily a one day, 495 mile (9 1/2 hour) highway ryde to get to our destination. Rest/rest and lunch stops are included in the time..

Our destination hotel is Tru by Hilton, 120 Crisanto Ave., Fort Mill, SC (803) 228-9175  Make reservations for arriving on August 11 and departing on August 13. Get the best rate you can, we have no rooms blocked.
