Texas Spyders In The Hills

Come and enjoy our beautiful Texas Hill Country. We are home to the world famous Three Twisted Sisters, but we have so many more roads to explore!

We have great vendors coming, and will be adding more rydes in addition to the awesome ones we had last year.

This is more like a Spyder party hosted by your Spyder friends - lots of social time, door prizes, good food, talks, Q & A's led by our accessory guru's and more.

You will want to include in your plans our police escorted Road Warrior Awareness Ryde through downtown historic Boerne. We will be honoring at least 12 Road Warriors leading us on their specially wrapped Spyders. These warriors will have just completed a 2000+ mile adventure to our rally from California.

DUES: Membership dues paid each year provides membership to the club for the calendar year (January thru December). New members will receive a chapter back patch. Dues paid are used to fund operating costs of the club, to make charitable contributions, and for any other expense the majority of the Board deems appropriate. Members that have not paid their annual dues by December 25th of the current year will be noted as ‘inactive’ and will not have voting rights during the annual meeting. New members that pay their initial dues on or after October 1 will be deemed as having paid their dues for the next year.

Hi Ladies!

We have been tossing this idea around for a while, and are very excited to announce we have a date and location for our first Brickyard Spyder Ryders Ladies Retreat!

We have a cabin at Patoka 4 Seasons Resort Friday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 23.  The cabin sleeps 8 (up to 10 with two air mattresses) and if we exceed that, we can reserve the adjoining cabin.  The final cost cannot be determined until we have a firm count, but it will likely be less than $65 per person (lodging) for the entire weekend.  We will then split the cost of food (breakfast, lunch, and snacks) in the cabin.  We will probably go out to dinner Friday and Saturday evening, and return home Sunday afternoon.

Weather permitting, this will be a Spyder Ryding event!  There are some great twisty roads in that area!  We will also have time to explore French Lick, West Baden, and Patoka Lake.  Bring games to play in the cabin as well :-) Once we make the reservation, we are locked into that weekend.  So if the weather is bad, we will drive down in cars and still have a great time!

We need to determine if we will need an extra cabin as soon as possible.  That being said, please RSVP yes or no as soon as possible, no later than Aug. 10.  We will then get a final count and will be able to determine the actual cost.

Here is the link to Patoka 4 Seasons, and we will be staying in Cabin 7A. I have stayed here twice and really like it!  http://www.patoka.com

Please let me know if you have any questions at all!  In an effort to avoid blowing up everyone's email box, please reply only to me, unless you have a question for the group.  I will send an update of RSVPs in a week or so, and will exclude anyone who has said they are not able to join us.
